I’m Ziporah with Helping Hands, providing senior downsizing help in Charlotte County, FL and Sarasota County. I help seniors and their families sort through what’s worth keeping, coordinate donations, handle the hauling, and make the whole process feel less impossible, one room at a time.
No crews of strangers. Just me, working at whatever pace makes sense for your situation.

What Senior Downsizing Help Actually Looks Like:
No judgment, no rushing. Here’s what I do:
- Show up on time and work at a pace that works for you.
- Help sort belongings into keep, donate and haul-away piles.
- Handle donation runs to local thrift stores and charities.
- Move furniture and boxes to where they need to go; or coordinate with moving companies.
- Coordinate with family members, even when they’re not local.
- Haul away what isn’t coming to the new place.
- Help set up and organize the new space on the other end if needed.
You don’t have to figure this out alone or all at once. We can tackle it in sessions if that works better for your aging parent, or your locale.

Senior downsizing is priced based on scope, how much there is, how many sessions you need and what’s involved in the hauling and donations.

Hourly Help: starting at $40/hr
Half-day or full-day rates available for larger jobs
Donation runs and haul-away priced separately when applicable.
